Late charges are assessed after the 16th day of the month on mortgages that do not have a payment made by 3:00 pm.

**Payments received after 3:00 PM MST: 1) May not post until the next business day 2) If it is the last business day of the month, payment will be processed the first business day of the next month**

Montana Housing accepts payments Online for a $5 fee, by Phone for a $10 fee, by United States Postal Service or ACH which can be set up for free.  The ACH days are currently set for the 5th and the 10th.
